Prune Your Rose Bush Throughout Its Growing Season

Quick Tip:  Rose Bush

You may not believe it, but if you don’t have the time to give your rose bush the five leaf rule, no problem!  Yes, it’s said this pruning method gives the ultimate blooms, but skip it.  If you don’t have time to count the leaves or even care to (the plant’s lucky it’s getting pruned), don’t sweat it and just snip off the dead flowers wherever you would like!  The rose bush in the picture is pruned for spent roses (deadheading) at any stem or leaf.  In the growing season I have even cut it back to half size and it still continues to bloom!  Give it a try!  Lin.
